Founded in 1954 by the legendary mouth harp and washboard extraordinaire Skooter Scullkapp,
Bare Bones made a name for itself in the murky, fluorescent-lit grange halls and smoky bowling
alleys of the midwest playing it's own unique brand of mutant-mutt-melange, soon to be known
as "Salsa-Modern-Folk-Polka-Beatnik-Yodel" (smolkabowl for short)
After 26 certified aluminum records, and thousands of long, road-weary miles, Bare Bones now appears
poised to take the world by storm with the announcement of their 57 city world tour, and the release
of the eagerly anticipated new record, "No Bone Moves" (available on vinyl and 8-track only)
